Great interview with fantastic tips! I'm trying to take these steps to becoming a 'Travel Photographer'. It's hard financially, finding time and juggling a full time job that has nothing to do with photography but pays the bills. Hopefully this is a means to an end.
I have one question; I am travelling to Vietnam and Cambodia in just under 3 weeks time for 3 weeks. I'm very excited about the amount of photo opportunities that will arise for me, but a little nervous about pulling my great big camera out. I have a Canon 5D MarkII with L-series lenses... I'm nervous about photographing people and I'm nervous about someone snatching my camera. Am I being silly? I don't want to miss perfect opportunities because my apprehension.
I would love some advise on this, if you could please help?

Cheers

I was working on a banana farm and injured myself while at work. I had only worked for one month when i injured myself. The injury was serious enough that i had to be taken to hospital in an ambulance. I am getting medical costs and loss of earnings threw workers compensation but am i still able to apply for 2nd year visa? The injury came from an accident and no fault of my own. I am not going to be fit to do rural work for the near future and 1st year expires in 2 months from now. Can anyone shed any light on this please?
