A German bushwalker has been reported missing after he was last seen yesterday afternoon in bushland of New South Wales’ New England area.
The 24-year-old German national was bushwalking yesterday with three friends at Bald Rock in Boonoo Boonoo National Park, when about 3pm he separated from the group.
He was last seen wearing shorts and a t-shirt and it is believed he was not carrying a backpack or any provisions.
Yesterday afternoon, police and emergency services conducted a search of the area including known walking tracks, however scaled down the search due to bad light and weather.
An extensive search was commenced this morning.
