We’re keeping a keen eye on some of the travel blogs nominated in the Lonely Planet Awards. One of our favourites is www.twoguysaroundtheworld.com, who are currently in OZ and especially their video of a mass pillow fight in Argentina. They’ve also made a couple of videos in Oz. This one’s from Sydney.
We really enjoyed their account of doing New Zealand’s Tongariro Crossing, too. Good stuff guys, keep it up.
Not a bad story on Cornered Market, focusing on what they’ve learned from two years of travel, including:
Earplugs are worth more than their weight in gold. The chorus of babies, cats, dogs, and chickens rings loud in the wee hours in many of the places we’ve visited. Reach for a set of earplugs and enjoy the power of silence.
One newbie (well, new to us) worth checking out is 3 Troopin’ Travelers, if only for the great homepage pic of their boot-iful bodies.

When I said lastly, I meant penultimately. One final final thing. Your food. It’s yours, not mine. If you’re eating a snake or fried gasshoper, then maybe, just maybe, I want to see a picture of it on your blog. But not pizza. I’ve seen a pizza before. Pizza’s a bit boring/too much information/about as interesting as, well, a half-eaten pizza. Just me? Oh.
